First appearing in January 2025 through a TikTok video by the now-banned user @eZburger401, the character was later popularized by @amoamimandy.1a, whose AI-generated image of a shark wearing Nike sneakers gained over 7 million views within days. The character has since risen to become the second most popular figure in the entire brainrot pantheon, often regarded as the main character and face of the franchise.

Visually, Tralalero Tralala presents as a blue great white shark standing upright on three muscular legs, each ending in bright blue Nike sneakers. His elongated side fins serve as front limbs, while a single rear fin forms a third leg, giving him a distinctive tripod stance. His expression is consistently confident, featuring a smirking grin with rows of sharp teeth visible. The typical background depicts a sunny beach setting with turquoise waves, golden sand, and seagulls overhead.

Within the Italian Brainrot universe, Tralalero Tralala occupies the role of the original protagonist and primary rival to Bombardiro Crocodilo. His cultural impact extends beyond memes into merchandise, trading cards, Roblox games, and even a statue resembling him at a bus stop in Busan, South Korea. Media outlets have described the Italian Brainrot characters as the Pokemon of the internet, with Tralalero Tralala serving as their Pikachu.
