It gained mainstream popularity in late 2023 as a variant of the Smurf Cat meme, then exploded a second time in August 2025 when it became the rarest and most valuable brainrot inside the Roblox game Steal a Brainrot.

The character is depicted as an enormous elephant whose body is entirely composed of a bright, glossy red strawberry. White polka dot seeds speckle the hide, tiny leaves crown the top of his head, and his long gray trunk protrudes from the round berry form. In the original 2007 image he stood in a lush green field, and modern AI reinterpretations usually maintain that botanical setting with bright sunlit meadows.

Beyond Roblox, Elefantini Strawberryni appears as the Boss of Strawberry Land in Brainrot Evolution and as the twelfth element of Mode 12 in Merge Fellas. He remains one of the rare brainrots with documented pre AI lineage.
